What the Yamaha warranties have in common
- They cover the original owner only and can’t be transferred, so they don’t carry over to a used piano.
- They apply to pianos bought from an authorized Yamaha dealer and used in the 50 US states and the District of Columbia.
- Keep your bill of sale: it is your proof of purchase for warranty service.
- Normal wear and periodic maintenance (such as tuning and regulation) aren’t covered, nor is damage from accidents, misuse, shipping, or extremes of temperature or humidity.
