A reproducing piano records your performance and plays it back on its own keys, exactly as you played it. That is what the ENSPIRE ST adds over the Classic: press record, play, and the piano performs it again with your timing, dynamics, and pedalling.
ENSPIRE ST reads 128 levels of keying velocity, 128 levels of key release velocity, and 128 levels of incremental pedaling. It also includes Yamaha’s SILENT system, so the same instrument practises through headphones with binaural samples of the CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial concert grands. Yamaha fits it across its upright and baby grand Disklaviers, everything except the Classic.
On the floor in baby grand form: the 5-foot DGB1K, the 5’3″ DGC1 and DC1X, and the 5’8″ DGC2 and DC2X. Every new piano includes a bench, and every acoustic piano leaves the store tuned to A-440.
