The SX Series is the step toward the concert grand: a premium collection of four models from 6’1″ to 7’6″ that draws directly from the technology and craftsmanship of the CF Series, Yamaha’s handbuilt concert line. Yamaha’s A.R.E. Acoustic Resonance Enhancement wood maturation process, European spruce soundboards, and hand-wound pure copper bass strings produce a tonal palette that is wide, expressive, and deeply musical. For the pianist who wants the soul of a concert instrument in a home or studio grand, the SX Series is the answer.
The S3X is 6’1″, the S5X 6’7″, the S6X 7 feet, and the S7X 7’6″. Every new piano includes a bench, and every acoustic piano leaves the store tuned to A-440.
